HISTORY
The Glenbard North High School
PTSA began in August 1994 to be a voice and an advocate for the students.
The strength of this organization comes from the parents, teachers and students
who work together to make a great school even better.
In its first fourteen
years, with the cooperation of many dedicated volunteers, the Glenbard North
High School PTSA has grown to be an important element in parent involvement
and student programs at the high school. It has sponsored Reflections, the
National PTA's annual fine arts program; sponsored, with parent and community
support, successful alcohol-free post-prom events; awarded senior
scholarships and senior stipends; hosted HOT TOPIX meetings for parent input
and feedback; organized and distributed a parent/student handbook; helped
organize and distribute a student/parent telephone directory; and hosted
guest speakers.
The PTSA hopes
to accomplish even more with your support
